Provider responsibility

Provider is responsible for damage reports connected to its crew, labor, packing, loading, unloading, or in-home work. State-specific damage rules may apply. Movers On Demand Marketplace is the platform and does not provide insurance, determine fault, value claims, or arbitrate claims.

Independent provider claims responsibility

Movers on Demand is a third-party marketplace connecting customers with independent moving providers. The provider remains financially responsible for its own claims and claim payouts.

Provider responsibility

• The services it performs and damage caused during its work.
• Responding to and investigating claims involving its company, workers, contractors, or crew.
• Providing requested claim documentation.
• Paying any settlement, reimbursement, repair cost, replacement cost, deductible, judgment, or other claim-related expense for which the provider is responsible.

Marketplace administrative assistance

• Accept initial claim intake and collect photographs, receipts, estimates, statements, and other records.
• Organize the claim file and send it to the provider.
• Communicate between the customer and provider and document proposed resolutions and claim status.

Marketplace limits

• Movers on Demand does not insure a provider, assume provider liability, decide legal fault, or guarantee claim payment.
• Movers on Demand does not pay settlements, repairs, replacements, deductibles, judgments, refunds, or other claim expenses from platform funds.
• Movers on Demand does not replace an insurance carrier or licensed claims professional.

I understand that I am an independent provider and remain responsible for claims arising from services performed by my company, employees, contractors, or crew. Movers on Demand may assist with claim intake and communication, but Movers on Demand is not responsible for paying claims, settlements, repairs, replacements, deductibles, judgments, or other claim-related expenses.
